Feedback

Tyran Rice has successfully met all the requirements for the assignment. The calculate method in expression_calculator.ts was implemented correctly, using helper functions for addition, multiplication, division, and power operations. The logic is clear and follows the task's requirements. The .env.test file was correctly modified to reflect the assigned group letter 'D'. The code is written in proper TypeScript and maintains a consistent style throughout, with all GitHub checks passing, indicating no technical issues. Additionally, the student tackled the stretch assignment by implementing the isValidAlphaAbbreviation function. The function correctly interprets the abbreviation according to the specified rules and handles various test cases effectively. The README file provides a clear explanation of the function's logic and includes test cases that demonstrate its correctness. Overall, the submission is well-executed, demonstrating a strong understanding of both the core and stretch requirements.
