Summary

  • switch the managed AVD setup to the Android 35 Google APIs image for more stable instrumentation runs
  • replace the adb streamed install helper with a push+pm based workflow that never triggers the API 35 PackageInstaller crash
  • update the emulator installation diagnostics to continue logging package visibility without breaking pipelines

Testing

  • bash -n scripts/build-android-app.sh
  • python -m compileall scripts/update_android_ui_test_gradle.py
