Fix patch for pytest 9, pip check, use pixi

  • the patch was in the wrong direction

  • the trove classifiers don't mean anything, so didn't bring that over

• use pixi
• use hint-grayskull to get best-effort updates on MRs
• normalize a bunch of YAML conventions
• change line endings to \n
