Hi! This is the friendly automated conda-forge-linting service.

I wanted to let you know that I linted all conda-recipes in your PR (recipes/bayesed3/meta.yaml) and found some lint.

Here's what I've got...

For recipes/bayesed3/meta.yaml:

  • requirements: run: openmpi=4.1.6 must contain a space between the name and the pin, i.e. openmpi =4.1.6
  • ❌ Non noarch packages should have python requirement without any version constraints.
  • ❌ This recipe is using a compiler, which now requires adding a build dependence on {{ stdlib("c") }} as well. Note that this rule applies to each output of the recipe using a compiler.

For recipes/bayesed3/meta.yaml:

  • ℹ️ top-level output has some malformed specs:
  • In section run: openmpi=4.1.6
Requirement spec fields should match the syntax name [version [build]]to avoid known issues in conda-build. For example, instead of name =version=build, use name version.* build. There should be no spaces between version operators and versions either: python >= 3.8 should be python >=3.8.

I do have some suggestions for making it better though...

For recipes/bayesed3/meta.yaml:

  • ℹ️ Recipes should usually depend on astropy-base as opposed to astropy. astropy-base only has the required dependancies whereas astropy now has all optional dependancies as well.
