I also think that the update procedure is currently written too simply, so I will consider updating the documentation as well!

I want to use some new features added to the latest release of controller-runtime, but first we need to bump Kubernetes to 1.35. I have followed https://cybozu-go.github.io/accurate/maintenance.html#how-to-update-supported-kubernetes, but it was also needed to bump Go version.
