Widget broken: Couldn't add widget

Hi,

The widget stopped working for me, it just displays "Couldn't add widget."
I tried removing it and re adding, same result.
It used to work just fine.

App version v3.0.2-rc0

Do you have a profile set up?
After adding the widget, it should show a screen and ask you which configured device it should display.

I do, it has always worked as expected before, it's only recently stopped working
I removed then added it again and same result:

Hm, anyway you can get the part of the system log when you add the widget, i.e. ADB LOGCAT?

If not, could you share a system bug report with me? As that may contain sensitive info, send it to support@darken.eu.

I don't have an S22, but tried it on an S20, and could not reproduce it.

Thanks, there are no obvious issues in the log. AFAICT everything looks okay.

I've made some changes in #352, but I don't think any of them will fix your issue.

Looking up "Couldn't add widget" and "Samsung", this is not uncommon, but most users report this being fixed after reboots (safe mode?) and cache clearing. There were no specific reports of a Samsung Widget incompatibility.

• Try rebooting
• Try rebooting in safemode
• Try a different launcher for a moment

If it still fails, add a widget and then take a system bug report: https://developer.android.com/studio/debug/bug-report (share via email only, may contain sensitive info). The system bug report will contain the log output from all apps, and with a bit of luck the launcher will produce some useful info, warning or error when adding the widget.

Currently i'm out of ideas, sorry.
