Usage

• Download a zip file for the Sun/JRocket java agent and place the .zip in this directory.
• Any of these will work. Pick the startup flavor that's easiest for you.
• Update appdynamics.env if using Docker to run the app.

java

Requires Java 8 and Maven 3.

Build the jar: mvn clean package

Execute the jar: java -jar mybanking/target/mybanking-1.0.jar

Or include the AppDynamics Java agent:

• Download and unzip the java agent into AppServerAgent/
• Change Controller properties as necessary.

docker

• Update the commands to match your agent version
• Build the image: docker build --build-arg APPDYNAMICS_AGENT_VERSION=4.3.5.10 -t lab2 .
• Run the container: docker run --env-file=appdynamics.env -p 8080:8080 lab2

docker-compose

• Update the .yml to match your agent version
• Update appdynamics.env with your Controller details
• Build and start: docker-compose up
