Updating Map Data
NOTE: Before proceeding with updates, please check if newer map data for your map region is available here.
Current map year is visible in navigation system by clicking "MENU" button, then Information.
To update map data files, the SD needs to be unlocked. If you haven't done so, please follow steps 1-3 of this guide.
It is also highly recommended to make map updates on new Map SD, not with original Nissan Map SD. Keep the original as backup, in case of any problems.
Download latest map data archive from https://files.viaaq.eu/maps/ for your region.
Extract the archive on your computer.

Above you see directory structure of map data.
Start by deleting all folders EXCEPT VER_INFO. Leave the folder intact.
When all data is deleted, copy all new files from extracted archive, EXCEPT VER_INFO.
If you came to this guide from Maintenance & Cloning of Map SD Card, Step 5, please continue from Step 6 and lock both original and new Map SD.
In other case, lock your Map SD to which you copied new Map Data.
