Being as ddoc is now moving to a point where it changes some settings upon every loading (such as shifting the active message base/group and sub-board, etc), there needs to be an init and exit routine set up for proper entry and exit from the ddoc shell in order to preserve and restore all of this crap.

Get bi-directional scanning working. Set up proper saving of message group area between scans. Restore original group prior to logout.
