Please note: As of January 28, 2026, we've decided to move to native core block variations and original WordPress Gutenberg blocks using @wordpress/scripts. We will no longer make further improvements to this repository. The new block library is not publicly available yet, as we're focusing on building a solid foundation for custom client blocks and determining the best way to open source everything, if possible. Core blocks and variations can be built directly with air-light.

Getting started

Currently this project is aimed for Dude staff only and is largely WIP but you may use it for your own purposes if you'd like. This is practically Air Gutenberg blocks with automation and extra spice.

1. Build like any other dudestack + air-light based project
2. Open Terminal, navigate to the bin folder under project root
3. Run bash newblock.sh
4. Follow instructions
5. Run newblock
