Following instructions are OS-agnostic

Make sure you have
.NET SDKinstalled on your machine. Recommended download can be found here.Lyriquiz is using .NET Core 2.x so after your installation, or if you already have it installed, please run
dotnet --versionin your terminal to make sure you have a 2.x version installed. -
Install Node.js. Please make sure that you have at least version 10.x.x by running
node -vin your terminal. If you have to update you can runnpm install -g npm@latestto get the latest version. -
Install the Angular CLI by running
npm install -g @angular/cliin your terminal. Please note that node.js (step 2) must be installed before this step. -
Clone this repo
git clone https://github.com/davidnjohansson/Lyriquiz.git -
cd Lyriquiz/Server/Lyriquiz/HelpersopenKeysExample.csand follow the instructions in the file and then rename the file toKeys.cs -
cd Lyriquiz/Clientand runnpm install. -

Following instructions are OS-agnostic
- To run the back-end server cd into Server/Lyriquiz and run
dotnet run. The server will start onlocalhost:5000. - To run the front-end cd into the Client directory and run
ng serveand the front-end will start onlocalhost:4200. - Grab your friends π€π€©π₯³ and get ready for a π€-load of lyrical π€ time β°.
