Hi, I'm David.

I'm a software engineer at Laxamentum Technologies. My professional work focuses on backend architecture, data engineering, and infrastructure using Go, TypeScript, and Python.

Current Focus: AI & Privacy

I build private, local-first AI systems. I'm all about running LLMs on my own hardware—no black-box APIs, no data leaving my network. Homelab & Infrastructure

Chronic data hoarder. I run a homelab for storage, media, and personal compute. Ubuntu all the way. I avoid SaaS whenever possible and prefer software I can host and control myself.

Off-Duty

  • Motorcycles: Nice weather means I'm off the computer. I ride a Kawasaki ZX6R and ZX10R.
  • Fitness: Former Yoga Sculpt instructor. Still train hard, but traded the mat for the saddle.
  • Plex: Technically a "Plex Ninja," now just a power user.
  • Life: Hanging out with my dog, Leah 🐶.
