Problem

release/8.0.3xx is no longer in support and should be removed from the inter-branch codeflow configuration.

Solution

Updated merge flow configuration to remove release/8.0.3xx:

  • Removed release/8.0.3xxrelease/8.0.4xx configuration
  • Updated release/8.0.1xx to merge directly to release/8.0.4xx (bypassing the unsupported release/8.0.3xx)

Merge flow now properly flows from:

release/8.0.1xx → release/8.0.4xx → release/9.0.1xx → release/9.0.3xx → release/10.0.1xx → release/10.0.2xx → main

Also fixed incorrect comment stating release/9.0.3xx merges "to main" when it actually merges to release/10.0.1xx, and updated comment terminology to consistently use "sdk repos".

Checks:

  • Added unit tests
Original prompt

release/8.0.3xx is no longer in support so should be removed from the inter-branch codeflow by modifying github-merge-flow.jsonc.
