`ubuntu:rolling` failing for unknown reason. Move to stable alpine release to dramatically reduce download size, load time, and instability.

ubuntu:rollingbuild currently failing - move to alpine:latest to dramatically reduce build volatility, image pull size, and image launch time-Do not create test file using single read, as it limits test file size to maximum single-read limit of /dev/zero device (currently 2GiB on most systems)
