This is used in SWT and Equinox via
@MohananRahul and @subyssurendran666 as mentioned in those PRs this automates some more preparation tasks. I have updated the documentation and removed the manual steps. |
Introduce the possibility to perform custom changes in each sub-module to prepare it for a new development cycle. Projects that require additional custom changes can implement them in a script named exactly 'prepareNextDevCycle.sh'.

This is a pure RelEng change that's intended to be used for the upcoming release preparation. Therefore I'm submitting this now despite we are currently in a freeze-period. |
