Revert changes to data retrieval in thermofeel

Description

This is to avoid the issues of thermofeel hanging when run tightly coupled to the model. Still investigating the actual cause of the issue (I think it came when the pproc-bundle was upgraded to the 2025.04 synchronised release) but this ensures that the issue doesn't occur as a temporary fix for now.
