@ethanchowell Could you please explain your use-case a bit further? I went down the rabbit-hole of whether the current setup, or specifying namespace: {{ .Release.Namespace }} is best practice and found this issue which seems to state that not specifying namespace in the template is the best practice from the Helm team directly.
