provide a simple end-to-end baggage example with

  • two services, one gateway calling a backend over HTTP
  • instrumentation agent on both services added with runtime instrumentation
  • gateway service sets the baggage values using the otel API
  • backend service is not modified and automatically inherits the baggage attributes
