There is nothing specific in the release notes to the Kibana Management team - providing rubberstamp-approval
@florent-leborgne in the preview, the Impact and Action headings for some of the breaking changes are appearing on the same line as preceding text. I think the automated formatting needs to be tweaked to add breaks before every section Edit to add: I just saw your initial comment about the breaking changes still being a WIP. Please disregard if you're already working on this! |

DataDiscovery owned changes LGTM; thx! 👍
The default system of granting users the privilege to generate reports has changed. Rather than assigning users the `reporting_user` role, administrators should create a custom role that grants report-creation privileges using Kibana application privileges. For more information, refer to ({kibana-pull}200834[#200834]).
Logs Stream and the logs settings page in Observability are removed. Use the Discover application, which now offers a contextual experience for logs, to explore your logs. The logs stream panel in dashboards is removed, use Discover sessions instead.
For more information, refer to ({kibana-pull}203996[#203996]). |

@mdbirnstiehl since the log settings page was removed, users that had updated their settings for log sources will need to migrate them to the new setting. This can be done through the upgrade assistant as part of the upgrade or later through related callouts or by manually updating the Kibana advanced setting. Shall we add some information here as well?
Merging now in time for release. If additional changes are required, they can continue thereafter |

Note for reviewers
Those are the items currently retrieved by the automation, to which I made some minor consistency edits. Please check that what's relevant for you is correct and communicated properly, and flag anything missing.
