Users shouldn't have to worry about these errors, but the host application will handle it (normally it's in the client SDK which is why I use the word "client")

Not sure I understand this phrasing then:
"This makes it harder for clients to provide helpful guidance to clients about what they need to do next."

I might be wrong about this but "for clients...to clients" is kind of confusing.
