I'm Erin John Rugas, a full stack engineer with experience building and scaling web applications end-to-end — from database and backend APIs to clean, maintainable frontends.

I’m currently leading technical development at Nexufy, my software development service, while exploring new opportunities in full-stack engineering.

Nexufy is my own software development service, where I help businesses build and automate modern web applications.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of web applications and internal tools for clients, from requirements to production.
• Design and implement full-stack solutions using Laravel, React, and related technologies.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based environments, and deployment workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and architecture decisions, especially around scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to scope projects, estimate work, and iterate quickly.

• Lead development of a digital membership card platform tightly integrated with the LINE Mini App for Japanese businesses, using Laravel, React, Blade, and MySQL.
• Implement and maintain LINE Login, Messaging, and Mini App integrations to drive user engagement and retention.
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, user-friendly interfaces while keeping performance in mind.
• Own custom QR code and Smaregi POS integrations, including barcode workflows used in production.
• Improve reliability and code quality through unit tests, TDD practices, and PHPStan checks.
• Set up and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines on AWS, using Docker and bash scripts to remove repetitive deployment tasks.

• Enhanced and maintained an e-commerce platform built with CodeIgniter, Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.
• Exposed and documented API endpoints used by both internal teams and external partners for integrations.
• Led a frontend revamp to Bootstrap 5 and vanilla JavaScript, improving usability and the overall shopping experience.
• Integrated payment gateways, email services, and social media features into the platform.
• Participated in code reviews and handled deployments on Linux-based systems.

• Developed and maintained CRM systems using PHP (CodeIgniter), UIKit, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.
• Led research and implementation of ETL scripts for data management across MySQL and MSSQL, generating reports and dashboards with Power BI.
• Helped keep codebases healthy through reviews, refactors, and deployment support.
• Worked with Azure services for application hosting and deployments.

• Built and maintained a Reservation System using Laravel, ReactJS, Bootstrap, and MySQL, including loyalty features and customer review flows.
• Developed an RFID-enabled mobile HRIS with Flutter/Dart and SQLite, plus secure backend APIs.
• Enhanced an existing Laravel-based Check-In System and handled deployments to UAT and production.
• Improved a Real Estate Management System frontend with ReactJS + Bootstrap and wired it to backend APIs.
• Managed Linux server deployments and monitored application stability.

• Updated and maintained client websites using WordPress and nopCommerce.
• Handled content updates, minor feature requests, and SEO-related tweaks for client properties.

• Built internal web systems such as expense tracking and timekeeping tools using CodeIgniter, Bootstrap, jQuery, and MySQL.
• Worked directly with stakeholders to refine requirements and ship features quickly.

A production membership platform for Japanese businesses that issues and manages digital membership cards inside the LINE Mini App ecosystem.
