Thanks for the review. I’ve updated the More broadly, this PR follows the same editorial standard ETC.org has used for nearly a decade: This PR has been reviewed and approved twice, and with the wording adjustment now in place, I believe all concerns have been addressed. Unless there are additional specific issues with factual accuracy or formatting, I’d appreciate us moving this forward so the timeline remains up to date. Happy to refine phrasing where needed, but blocking the merge beyond this point would be inconsistent with how similar historical updates have been handled across the site. |

Olympia is still a Draft ECIP. Are there any other Draft ECIPs mentioned in the timeline? Until it's actually locked-in, I don't see why it needs to be in the timeline at all. The timeline is for historical, important events that have shaped ETC's history (including activated features and hard forks), not for announcements about Draft ECIPs. Happy to merge the non-Olympia edits, but as of now, I cannot approve as this is mixing a bunch of things together into a PR that should be considered separately. I think we can resolve this by creating a new article about the 1559 debate, and link to it in the timeline. This article can be drafted once ethereumclassic/ECIPs#547 is merged. |

as olympia client work is wrapping up. it makes sense to get these articles published before the next wave of development articles hits the public website. @ethereumclassic/website this one has been sitting for 8+ months. |

Happy to approve Olympia stuff once #1658 is merged and we can add the disclaimers. |

Observing and documenting a pattern of soft block from a contentious participant. This article predates #1658 by over four months and has no dependency on it. Please merge on its own merits per established ETC.org editorial standards. LGTM |

I mistakenly thought this PR was part of the Olympia series of articles published. So I am only okay with merging this once the Olympia stuff is removed from the timeline, as per my earlier comment. |
Context: This PR has been open since July 29, 2025 (roughly five months) and remains blocked from merge due to a single outstanding “changes requested” review, despite multiple approvals from other website maintainers and follow-up edits addressing all feedback.
Update to current milestones.
