I suggested earlier that the examples should be moved into separate files in an example directory and the top level README.MD should have links to those files. At the RFC8950-wg repo we have a fancy table with all those links.
I figured my suggestion would carry more weight if I did the groundwork and created a pull request implementing (most of) what I suggested.
