Hey @petyosi, I know I probably should be more familiar with the OTel data model, but is Scope part of the Resource? In that case I am considering creating just one Resource config item on our configuration and use that to create the Resource used. That would include moving over the current Service type into there. That would give people full control over what goes into the Resource context. |

This change supports configuration of the OTel scope used. The
instrumentationLibraryfield can be dropped after the upgrade to the latest OTel libraries.
