Domingo

Domingo is a simple, consistent, object-oriented easy-to-use interface to the Lotus Notes/Domino Java-API.

The latest release 1.5.1 has been published on January 28, 2008.

Unfortunately it was never published to Maven Central this is why this project exists.

The original Domingo website is located at http://domingo.sourceforge.net/.

Version compatibility

This project’s aim is compatibility with Lotus Notes 9.x. Older versions are not necessarily supported.

Development

Prerequisites

Assumption is that your Lotus Notes Installation is located in NOTES_HOME, e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Notes.

Install Notes.jar

Go to $NOTES_HOME\jvm\lib\ext and install Notes.jar in local Maven repository (change version accordingly):

mvn install:install-file -Dfile=Notes.jar -DgroupId=ibm.lotus -DartifactId=Notes -Dversion=9.0.1 -Dpackaging=jar

Set PATH variable

Make sure that your local Lotus Notes installation directory is contained in PATH variable.

Build Domingo

mvn clean install
