Feature integrae languade model into teh generic data route #32
Conversation
- Add late final DataRepository<Language> languageRepository - Initialize languageClient and languageRepository in initialize method - Configure DataMongodb for Language with 'languages' collection
- Add language repository to the list of provided dependencies in the middleware function - This change enables access to the language repository throughout the application, facilitating language-related operations and improving modularity
- Add create, read, update, and delete permissions for languages - Maintain consistent naming convention with existing permissions
…lishers - Add languageRead permission to guest users - Extend dashboard publisher permissions to include: - Additional content type read permissions (headline, topic, source, country, language, remoteConfig) - Create, update, and delete language permissions - Improve code readability with better commenting
- Implement GET and POST endpoints for language data - Add readAll and create functionality for Language repository - Maintain consistent structure with existing endpoints
- Add _seedCollection method to seed specific collections from fixture data - Implement indexing for various collections to enable efficient searches - Remove unused import of mongodb_rate_limit_service.dart - Refactor code to improve readability and maintainability

Summary of Changes
Hello @fulleni, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!
This pull request integrates a new Language
data entity into the application's core infrastructure. It establishes the necessary data repository, defines granular access controls via RBAC, extends the generic API routes to handle Language
data, and updates the database seeding process to include initial Language
records. This change lays the groundwork for features that require language-specific content or settings.
Highlights
- New Data Entity: Language: I've introduced a new
Language
data entity into the system, enabling the management of different languages as first-class data objects. - Data Repository Integration: A dedicated
DataRepository<Language>
has been added toAppDependencies
, allowing for consistent data access and management forLanguage
entities. - Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): New permissions (
language.create
,language.read
,language.update
,language.delete
) have been defined and assigned to relevant user roles (Guest, Publisher, Admin) to control access toLanguage
data. - Generic Data Route Extension: The generic API data routes (
/api/v1/data
) now supportLanguage
entities, allowing for standard GET (read) and POST (create) operations. - Database Seeding Enhancement: The database seeding service has been refactored with a new generic
_seedCollection
method, and it now includes initial seeding forLanguage
data, alongsideCountry
andRemoteConfig
.

Code Review
This pull request successfully integrates the Language
model into the generic data route, including adding the necessary repository, permissions, and route handling. The refactoring in DatabaseSeedingService
to use a generic _seedCollection
method is a great improvement for maintainability.
I've found one critical issue where the database index creation for the rate-limiting feature was accidentally removed during refactoring. This needs to be addressed to prevent performance degradation and data accumulation.
As a minor note, please consider fixing the typos in the pull request title for better clarity.
