Summary of Changes
Hello @fulleni, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!
This pull request primarily addresses and refines how the application's status is determined and updated, ensuring consistent behavior whether the app is starting up or performing background checks. Additionally, it enhances the application's internationalization by integrating UI Kit specific localizations.
Highlights
- App Status Resolution Logic: I've simplified the
AppBloc
's logic for resolving the application's status (AppStatus.authenticated
orAppStatus.anonymous
) after fetching the remote configuration. Previously, there was a conditional path for initial fetches versus background checks. Now, the final status is consistently emitted in both scenarios, ensuring a more predictable state transition regardless of how theAppConfigFetchRequested
event is triggered. - Localization Support Expansion: I've extended the application's localization delegates to include
UiKitLocalizations
. This change ensures that UI Kit components used across various app states (likeMaintenancePage
,UpdateRequiredPage
, andStatusPage
) can properly load their localized strings, improving the internationalization capabilities of the UI. - Code Formatting Improvements: Minor formatting adjustments were made in
AppStatusService
to improve code readability, specifically around constructor initialization andprint
statements.

Code Review
This pull request fixes an issue where the application could get stuck in a status state (like 'under maintenance') even after the condition was resolved during a background check. The change in AppBloc
correctly resets the application status. Additionally, localization delegates for the UI kit have been added to the status pages, which is a good fix. I've left one comment regarding code duplication in app.dart
to improve maintainability.
