Hi, I like to create things. It just so happens that programming helps me do that in useful ways. I also enjoy various forms of writing and creating music.
I found Nushell and Helix a few years ago and my life in the terminal was transformed. I highly recommend trying them out. Both are beginner friendly (in their respective categories).
While I never thought I would leave macOS, Fedora Asahi Remix with the incredible new COSMIC DE is pulling hard on me. I already run it on dual-boot and always enjoy the speed and aesthetics of COSMIC.
Anyway, I like programming in Nu, Swift, Python, and now Rust.
I use LLMs to program, but I always have some longing for the days before they existed. Whatever your stance is, make sure you are always improving your mind and whole person, not just producing code (whether directly or indirectly).
I've built both iOS and macOS apps in Swift using SwiftUI. Try Rainaissance if you want a highly customizable and cozy rain/snow experience on your mac.
I'm currently diving more into Nu modules and Rust. Nu is an amazing language, but lacks lacked a good package manager. Try Quiver if you want a declarative way to use, build, and share Nu modules.
