Changes made: High Scores → The game records scores in a highScores vector and shows the top 10 when the game ends. Pause/Resume → Players can press p to pause the game and press it again to continue. Poison Food → A special item spawns randomly; if the snake eats it, the game ends immediately. Scoring System → Each food eaten adds 10 points to the score, which is displayed during gameplay. Valid Food Placement → The spawn_food() function guarantees that new food never appears inside the snake’s body. Dynamic Difficulty → The snake’s speed increases (time between moves decreases) as it consumes more food.
