If you don't have sponsor account and it's pending for you then you stuck with it forever and you can't remove it
GitHub support is totally dead and they don't respond people for years so you are locked with this
If you will try to create organization to move repositories there you will get errors "The repository has been retired and cannot be reused"
GitHub was much better when it wasn't Microsoft, support was working and there was no ghost notifications
