Summary of Changes

Hello @Myself-Bloons, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request focuses on improving the clarity and completeness of the GEMINI.md documentation. The primary goal is to enhance the onboarding experience for new contributors by providing explicit instructions on how to set up the repository locally and the steps involved in making contributions, thereby lowering the barrier to entry for participation.

Highlights

  • Documentation Update: The GEMINI.md file has been updated to provide more comprehensive instructions for interacting with the Git repository.
  • Contribution Guidance: New details have been added on how to clone the repository, list branches, and the process for contributing changes via forking.
  • Punctuation Correction: A minor punctuation fix was applied, adding a period to the sentence defining the main branch.

Code Review

This pull request aims to improve the GEMINI.md file by adding more details about the Git repository and how to contribute. While the intention is good, the added information is redundant with the existing CONTRIBUTING.md file. Duplicating this content can create maintenance problems. My feedback suggests removing the redundant text and instead linking to the official contribution guide to ensure there is a single source of truth.
