Bazel 9 build fails as expected, see #1260 for the fix. Bazel 7 and 8 succeeds which is good to confirm. |

The example in examples/bazel/ provides a way to check that library clients using Bazel builds can use the library. But clients may be using different Bazel versions. So it's useful to check multiple versions here.
