Summary of Changes

Hello @phiz71, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request resolves a critical permission issue within the console Docker image. It ensures that the nginx user possesses the necessary write access to the /etc/nginx/conf.d directory, which is essential for the check_ip_config.sh script to successfully rename configuration files during its execution.

Highlights

  • Dockerfile Permissions: Modified the Dockerfile to explicitly set ownership of /usr/share/nginx and /etc/nginx directories to nginx:root before applying group write permissions.
Changelog
  • gravitee-apim-console-webui/docker/Dockerfile
    • Added chown -R nginx:root commands for /usr/share/nginx and /etc/nginx to correctly assign ownership to the nginx user and root group.

For better readability and conciseness, you can combine the two chown commands into one. Also, the trailing slashes in the chmod command are not necessary. You could refactor this to:

RUN chown -R nginx:root /usr/share/nginx /etc/nginx \
    && chmod -R g=u /usr/share/nginx /etc/nginx
