In order to establish trust with the API the data will need to remain up to date. While an administrator will likely catch and update some changes, it's preferable to validate the organization and organizers.

Ideas

• Reconfirm Email Addresses - MailChimp[http://kb.mailchimp.com/lists/managing-subscribers/how-to-reconfirm-a-list]
• Check if the organizers name in the event Service matches the name in the API, if not, send an email to admin and flag as needs review. Potential problems: Meetup.com has co-organizers and you can only get to the primary organizer who, in the case of The Iron Yard, is not the primary contact.
