Clean up internal APIs #63
Description
Feels a bit awkward to rename lcc back to _lcc. We should try to use the same name for the same thing. Maybe create an issue where we spell out our preferences vs current state.

The python code uses a lot of protected class properties and _underscored variables.
However, as the end user interfaces with powerfit through the CLI, we don't need to worry about users messing with class properties and such. This would allow for simpler and cleaner code.
