Welcome to the Android-File-Transfer wiki!

This wiki page is using to introduce to users who don't know about Android File Transfer yet. You may know, when you connect an Android device to a Windows PC, it will automatically connect and map its internal and external storage as a drive in Windows. From that, you can easily and quickly access this drive to browse files, view files, move files, as well as delete files.

However, if you connect an Android device to a Mac OS computer, you will not see anything happen. It's just like you haven't connected it yet. This happens because Android OS doesn't compatible with Mac OS. And so, they won't work together, unless a third-party application helped to do so.

From that reason, the team of Google's Android has developed a tool, called Android File Transfer, which will helped you to transfer files from your connected Android smartphone or tablet to your Mac, and vice versa. With the help of Android File Transfer, you can easily access your files, view them or even delete them as you want.

For further details of what Android File Transfer is, or how does it work, visit the following link above to check it out. Also, I have listed a few other apps you can use to do the same thing as alternatives.
