Work Experience: Prev. Google, Samsung Research and Development Institute, IIT Bombay
My work focuses on building open-source models for real-world applications and democratizing AI. Previously with the Keras team, I have been privileged to make an impact on the library, which continues to serve more than 3 million developers worldwide. My models on Kaggle have also gained significant traction, with over 50K downloads (as of Jan 2026).
You'll probably find me building and contributing to open source, authoring models originally developed by high-value organizations and institutions such as Google DeepMind and the University of Science and Technology of China, and collaborating with Hugging Face and Keras. Having previously worked with Google, Samsung, and IIT Bombay, I've honed my skill set through diverse experiences, but I remain deeply committed to the mission of bringing AI to everyone.
My strength lies in the taste I possess for large ML codebases and infrastructure. I can adapt quickly and learn on the job while creating no less impact. I can parallelize learning and value creation while undertaking complex projects and working under stringent deadlines. I iterate quickly and let the work set a strong precedent, while taking ownership of my projects. Here are the references from some of my lovely teammates, product manager, and team lead from Google about my ethic and the value I bring to my work.
I also really seem to love using right arrows (→) instead of bullet points; I don’t know why lol.
I believe in designing with the user in mind, and my open-source work reflects this philosophy. I’ve contributed to various ecosystems (the links point to my individual contributions, not the repositories themselves). Below are some notable examples; not an exhaustive list:
→ Hugging Face: Continuing to contribute to the Transformers library.
→ KerasHub: Continuing to contribute multiple projects to KerasHub and the Kaggle Keras page.
→ Core Keras: Continuing to contribute multiple bug fixes and features to the Core Keras library (releases 3.9.0 and 3.11.0).
→ PyTorch: Contributed to the PyTorch Tutorials ecosystem.
→ Cactus: Contributed to the Cactus ecosystem.
If you find my contributions valuable and think I could create similar impact in a more involved capacity, I'd love to connect.
