arduino based home automation sub-system that turns on and off bathroom light when door is open and closed. Take a piece of aluminium foil 10 cm. long and cut it in half.Fold each portion equally and attach wire to both halfs. connect one portion to uno's ground pin and other on to digital inpin (e.g 3). connect relay circiuit to pin 13 to send turn on signal to relay. Door open and close will make in pin high and low , this program will detect when person is in-side the bathroom and will turn on the light.
