Venom Crosshairs (or "Venomxhairs") is a client-side solution to automating the installation and make customization of weapon-specific crosshairs and explosion effect easier for Team Fortress 2.

NOTE: If you already have an old custom/weapon-specific crosshair folder in \tf\custom delete it or rename it to _VenomCrosshairsConfig
- Download the latest release found here.
- Extract the folder named
VenomCrosshairsto a directory of your liking (that is NOT\tf\custom). - Close Team Fortress 2 and run
VenomCrosshairs.exeand customize your weapon-specific crosshair config. - Hit "Install/Update" to install config.
- Set
cl_crosshair_file ""in Team Fortress 2.
NOTE: Malwarebytes may report the executable as MachineLearning/Anomalous.X%, you will have to manually exclude the VenomCrosshairs folder to be able to use Venom Crosshairs alongside Malwarebytes. More details on this issue can be found here and also here, explained by a Staff member on Malwarebytes forum.
