I wanted to run this on CI to see what deprecation in builds it would report... so now there's an extra commit trying to address the deprecation warnings (most are coming from "we cannot use get project from the "action execution" and property assignment).

we also would want this one hibernate/version-injection-plugin#8 (to address some of the "get project" warnings)
