Gravity Manipulation

The Secret Scale unlocks Gravity Manipulation -- specifically, access to the Weightless effect. This effect disables gravity and air friction on the affected creature. This has a side effect of disabling the normal movement controls for players and suspending most animal AI. Holding shift allows the player to move anyway, even in midair.

Combined with the Vortex Stone (or Impulsion Stones in 1.20.1), Weightlessness can be a powerful tool for flight.

Weightless Boats

Shift-right-clicking a boat with a Secret Scale causes it to hover in the air. Boats affected this way are permanently weightless. Any entity deriving from the vanilla Boat class should be capable of being affected by this.

Potions of Weightlessness

Brewing a Thick Potion with a Secret Scale creates a potion that grants Weightless temporarily.

Gravity Chandelier

The Gravity Chandelier projects a sphere of weightlessness. Living entities inside are granted Weightless temporarily, and Item Entities are permanently made weightless.

Gravity Disruptor

Version 8+ only

When powered by Redstone, the Gravity Disruptor projects a 32 block long beam of weightlessness.

Phantom Quilt

Version 10+ only

The Phantom Quilt is a ride-able hovering entity that can fly up and down. To move up, push forward or jump; to move down, push backward (since shift dismounts you from the vehicle).
