HL7 AU FHIR Test Data contains sample FHIR instances for testing purposes, and to support developers. This repository includes synthetic (realistic but not real) data that conforms to HL7 AU FHIR Implementation Guides (IGs). The synthetic data covers a broader and expanded content scope over that in the FHIR instance examples included in published HL7 AU FHIR IGs.

>All data in this data set is for test purpose only. They shall not contain any personal or protected health information.

Could we say

All data in this repository is for testing purposes only. No personal or protected health information is included.

Or maybe even say 'synthetic data' again, e.g.

This repository contains synthetic data for testing purposes only. The data contains no personal or protected health information.

Thanks @xmhorsehead, some minor changes suggested but please don't address before we have feedback from Danielle and Brett.

These are not two discrete sentences. What is 'they' which is an entity not an abstract concept. Reword. Also provide either some definition of this PHI or a link to where people can find the definition.

Disclaimer of fictionality does not address the discussions. People will be fictional. Some organisations, locations, healthcareservices will be fictional and some will be real. Two points:

  1. The statement around fiction is lacking - go find a good reference on how fictional books and movies describe the relationship between what is shown and reality.
  2. Adapt from point 1 above, NOT every location, organisation, or healthcareservice will be fictional

Noting that some of the points have not been addressed. But internal conversation with @xmhorsehead indicates a re-review is requested anyway.

  1. Change the wording to the below
  2. The agreement was Red either as a call out box, or make the text red.
[!WARNING]
The sample FHIR resources in this repository are intended for testing and demonstration purposes only. Users are advised to not input any personal or sensitive information, including health data, into this repository. The repository does not comply with the requirements for handling personal or sensitive information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

All persons and health data are fictional, any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is purely coincidental.
With the exception of representation of federal agencies, all organisations, devices, and healthcare services, are fictional and any resemblance to actual organisations, devices, and healthcare services is purely coincidental.

@brettesler-ext - the GOVERNANCE.md and LICENSE.md are not appropriate; need this fixed prior to Connectathon.

@dt-r @brettesler-ext
re GOVERNANCE.md and LICENSE.md:
The reason behind this change was github requiring LICENSE.md to be quite identical to the standard text, in order to be detected and listed on the repository's top level page. "To have your license detected, simplify your LICENSE file and note the complexity somewhere else, such as your repository's README file." (quoting github documentation)
With this limitation, any advice on how to make this more appropriate?

@dt-r preview of the red call out box, is this significant enough?
