No thought...no concept can destabilize you except if you believe in it, because you are there before any concept came. Concepts came subsequently. You are not a concept.. -- Mooji
When did you first realize you were...you? We know it was uneventful, bc you can't even remember it, but you becoming aware of the fact that you're human is one of the most meaningful events that will ever happen in the universe. You're personal "Big Bang." By stringing together your thoughts and experiences into memories, you developed an ego that turned you into the unique human being that you are. It's cool you exist. Thanks for being here.
If the spark of human awareness is a big deal, then understanding how The Planet allowed all of this to happen might be fun to look into.
When did we first realize we were The Planet/humanity? Was it when the first human gave us a name? When single celled organisms started? Maybe when all the atoms that make you and everything you love were still part of a single molten ball floating around our sun? Similar to how you became yourself seemingly out of nowhere, at some point in time, where we live shifted from being a random spec of dust in space to being The Planet/Earth/Gaia/home/etc we all know and love. Each human uses ego to engineer an avatar/identity...the Earth uses history for the same thing.
History is Earth's ego.
History tells a story. It's not "true" or "false"...it's a perspective. Our history defines the subcultures that govern how we relate to ourselves, each other, and The Planet. History constructs our egos, and our egos write our collective history. We live in an infinite feedback loop (matrix) of our own ideas. Who gets to write our collective story?
Until now, we've given centralized institutions permission to write our collective history by creating the narrative that use fear and lack as defaults for how the world works. More than ever, it seems humans are giving up creative control to our institutions in hope of gaining a false sense of security.
Institutions are the Earth's subconscious.
What happens when freedom of thought is lost? Society takes another step towards sameness and we lose the intellectual diversity that made our existence as beautiful as it is today. That's not something we worry about too much, because we know we all have full control over our reality.
If history is Earth's ego, huStory: We're All Right is The Planet's open source game where we all get to define our decentralized higher self. We'll be using huStory to reprogram our collective subconscious mind (centralized institutions), so it gets easier and easier for people to create the lives they want.
"It really is high time that, in many ways, the institution of the fool was reintroduced" - Alan Watts
