Summary of Changes

Hello @PetrBulanek, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request introduces a SingleSelectField component to the form extension, significantly enhancing form creation capabilities by allowing users to select a single option from a predefined list. The implementation involves coordinated updates across the Python SDK for field definition, the TypeScript SDK for schema validation and type safety, and the UI for rendering and user interaction. Corresponding documentation has also been updated to reflect these changes.

Highlights

  • New SingleSelectField Component: A new SingleSelectField has been introduced to the form extension, enabling single-choice selections within forms.
  • SDK Updates: Both the Python and TypeScript SDKs have been updated to define and support the new SingleSelectField type and its corresponding value structure.
  • UI Integration and Styling: The UI now includes a dedicated React component for rendering the SingleSelectField, along with necessary logic for form handling and styling adjustments to integrate seamlessly.
  • Documentation Updates: The forms.mdx documentation has been updated to include comprehensive details and examples for the new SingleSelectField.

Code Review

This pull request introduces a new SingleSelectField component to the form extension, enabling single-choice selection from a list of options. The changes are comprehensive, spanning the Python SDK, TypeScript SDK, UI components, styling, and documentation. The implementation is solid, with backend validation for the default value. I've identified a couple of areas for improvement: adding similar validation to the TypeScript schema for consistency and fixing an error in the documentation example for the new field. Overall, this is a great addition.
