Instead, just use `subprocess.check_call(cwd=self.dir)`.
The tests are starting to take a while now that we enable more and run the refactorer, so just run them in parallel.

The tests are starting to take a while now that we enable more and run the refactorer (~23 min), so just run them in parallel, which is fairly easy to do.
