I'm not sure how this happened, but it looks like #253 was reverted in 43ec284. I suspect that's because I'm used to commits getting squashed before merge so I didn't consider how my branches would interact with each other.
In any case, this PR is just like the old one. I'll be more careful about my commits this time!
