@jorisdral, @geo2a do you need support for GHC-9.{2,4}? I dropped both of them from CI some time ago...

io-sim-1.8.0.1 is on hackage: https://hackage.haskell.org/package/io-sim-1.8.0.1

do you need support for GHC-9.{2,4}

I think it would be nice to test with GHC 9.2 and 9.4 in CI if it is not too much trouble.
