xfrom is a playstation2 memory card flash chip hooked up to the DEV9 interface to be used as a flash memory for updates or bootloaders
Only functional use case is the PSX-DESR, although the SCPH-50xxx series have the drivers for it builtin, no network adapter with XFROM was ever found...
