This repo is a companion piece to my Substack piece on "How I Utilize AI Agents: An Illustrated Tour of My Setup + Please Don't Use OpenClaw."
Files:
- initial sketch: My notes. Built up over time and from my typing things as they come in mind over weeks. 0% AI generated.
- Initial Draft: The initial draft attempt by Claude Opus 4.6.
- Initial Draft v2 (JAMES EDIT): My edit of Initial Draft. NOT touched by AI/Claude at all, meaning purely my edits.
- Initial Draft v3: AI's edits on my draft from v2. This is from questions to me and input on how to change/expand. It suggested that my web capture section was a bit too long and the conclusion now was dangling.
- Initial Draft v4 (JAMES EDIT): Purely my edit, going off of v3. Relatively minor.
As you can see, a lot of text is used verbatim from initial sketch to initial draft. Additinally, Initial Draft v2 (JAMES EDIT) is very different from the Initial Draft. Usually, the difference is not quite that stark, but I don't usually write this kind of piece.
However, it is always true that I edit what the AI does quite a bit. That's fine. I was an editor in college for a newspaper. We edited human pieces a lot too. Additionally, any intern or junior employee drafting something would basically look the same---which I can speak from experience too.
