Description

Update Network Application version from 9.5.21 to 10.0.162.

Motivation and Context

Update UniFi Network to official release version 10.0.162. The new version includes improvements and bugfixes, as described here.

How Has This Been Tested?

  1. Built the container on a local home server,
  2. Accessed and completed the default UniFi setup without any issues,
  3. Connected an Access Point, passed a VLAN network and configured an SSID,
  4. Connected to the SSID successfully using a mobile device.

PKGURL in Dockerfile points to new, official release from December 04, 2025.

@Kaosys I can bump and test the bugfix relase (10.0.161) that @raphis linked and change the PR still.

Please let me know if you want me to do anything else here.

@1wonderwonder I don't have any permissions in this repo here. Only the owner @jacobalberty can merge PRs.

Regarding 10.0.161: That was an early access release candidate, which was never released. UI is already working on the next version.

10.0.161 (now replaced with 10.0.162) are just release candidates. Doesn't @jacobalberty wait for stable releases?

Yea holiday had me delayed until 10.0.161 was already in testing, and the quick followup had me concerned that there was an issue here that warrants not releasing. I haven't had a chance to take a look here yet to see why it was followed up so quickly and if a update should be held until they get a new stable

it may be official but i doubt it's actually stable...slow/calculated updates on this container are one of the best reasons to use it - thank you for looking out for us @jacobalberty

I'm having an issue with the interface in 9.5.21 in which some of the toggles on the system settings won't record. Ubiquiti support said it should be fixed with 10.0.160 that's why i was hoping to upgrade

Hi All,

Totally appreciate and respect the caution. As others have said this is a big attractor of this project.

UniFi has now pushed this to my devices (other family members) that are using other devices to host their networks.

It’s only been 24 hours, but I’ve not observed any issues yet, and looks like they are pushing forwards with the phased rollout.

I've been running this version on my homelab since pushing the PR, no issues so far. However, I see that 10.0.162 has been released as the official release, so I will test this one this week and maybe update this PR.

@1wonderwonder can you test vouchers and see if they're working in 10.0.x?

@1wonderwonder can you test vouchers and see if they're working in 10.0.x?

I've tested it on 10.0.162 and it works as for vouchers:

  1. Added a single-use voucher
  2. Set up the Captive portal SSID with a third party VLAN subnet
  3. Logged in to the SSID, got the pop up window
  4. After entering the voucher I had the internet access

I also see that people are talking about this not working on the forums, but for me it worked without any issues. The only thing was the phone warned me about not having the SSL cert, but I'm in my LAN so that's fine.

Let me know if you'd like any details on the settings, I'll update the PR shortly with the 10.0.162 version.
